A 40 Year Old Sells Toys on eBay for $100,000
I just came home from seeing the movie The 40 Year Old Virgin - great movie, hilarious! Steve Carell is just amazing, definitely one of the best comedians of today.
One of the things that came up was that Steve’s character, Andy wanted to open up his own electronics store, but he didn’t have enough money to do that. Being a bit of a geek he had collected a lot of toys, action figures, etc. over the years - many in the original packages. So he decided to sell his collectibles on eBay to raise money to open his store. Well, he ends up getting over $100,000 for his toys!
Even though this is fiction it can really be done - with the right tools and information you can really make a living selling things on eBay.
